Bedding Care Guide

Simple, condition-based care to keep your bedding looking and feeling its best. Your product's care label always comes first.

Start with the Product Care Label

Fabrics and fills vary, so washing temperature, detergent and drying method depend on the item. Check the sewn-in care label and the care instructions on the product page before the first wash.

Washing by Product Type

Fitted Sheets & Duvet Cover Sets

Wash before first use, wash similar colours together, and close any zips or buttons first. Turn duvet covers inside out. Avoid overloading the machine so the fabric can rinse fully. Fitted sheets · Duvet cover sets.

Comforters

Our comforters are listed as machine washable, but they are bulky, so follow the care label for the cycle and make sure your machine has room. A comforter arrives vacuum packed: give it time to regain its shape after opening. Comforters.

Toppers & Protectors

Toppers and protectors often have specific limits on washing and drying, and waterproof layers can be damaged by high heat or harsh products. Follow the label exactly. Toppers · Mattress protectors · Pillow protectors.

Drying & Storage

Make sure filled items and protectors are completely dry before using or storing them. Store clean bedding in a cool, dry place in a breathable bag rather than sealed plastic.

Common Care Questions

Should I wash new bedding before using it?

Yes, a first wash is a good idea for sheets and covers. Follow the label for the method.

Why has my bedding changed colour or shape?

Washing hotter than the label allows, harsh detergents or high-heat drying are the usual causes. If an item arrived with a fault, contact us.
